christmas social 2022

ice skating was amazballs!!!

Once again we had an awesome time at our Xmas social ice skating at Hampton Court palace. Over 90 SNTA players took to the ice to celebrate the season so far and spend sometime buidling bonds and making memories with thier fellow SNTA members. It was a great afternoon, thank you Rachael for organising it. It really was great fun. Can't wait till the next one!!

disney netball 2022

disney was a blast!!!

We had a great time at Disney this year with the U15's. It was so much fun both on and off the courts.

The girls did so well and showed real resilence playing up in a U16 division and ending up with a flat 7 on each team.

Massive congrats to the Blue team who came 3rd and the Yellows who came 6th overall.

Lots of laughs and some great memories made. We simply cant wait to do it all again next year!!

A massive thank you to Lisa Saunders for organising the trip, without your hard work and attention to detail the trip never would have went ahead.

Congrats to all of the Shan Netball members who were selected to represent thier boroughs in the London Youth Games this weekend. A massive congrats to the Wandworth team who came 2nd and recieved lovely silver medals!!

It was a day of amazing talent and fun. We hope more of the girls can participate next year .

so much fun this weekend!!!

A massive thank you to Sabina Netball club for hosting such a fabolous tournamnet. SNTA entered 3 teams and all 3 took home shiny medals!!

U10's were unbeaten all day and took the gold medals

U12's played outstanding in some highly contested games and mamaged to come first in thier division and take home gold medals

Our U13/14 mixed team played in the U14 divisoin and had some fierce competition all the athletes rose to the occasion and managed to secure 3rd place taking hoime some lovely shiny bronze medals. It is great for our academy to have these experinces and play against all other teams in the region. It makes me very excited for the upcoming season.

Thanks again to the parent team mangers who really stepped up on the day, we could not do it without you and thanks to all of the coaches who work hard to help these girls develop their netball and achieve thier dreams.

wHAT AN AMAZING TOUR!!!

Firstly a massive Thank You to Lisa for organising what was a FANTASTIC weekend
SNTA's first Butlins Netball Tour.
What a weekend it was. So much FUN, LAUGHS, MEMORIES and of course very competitive netball matches.
Off the court it was an amazing bonding experience swimming, pizza beach party, arcade fun and room parties and that was just the adults 😅
On the court the girls did an amazing job
U11 won their division 🏆and U12 won their division 🏆our U11 B team were absolutely amazing and got better as each match went by, we couldn't have asked for more.
We are honestly such proud coaches as that is the best I have personally seen the girls play. A massive shout out to Herts Dynamo for such a nail biting finale.
Once again a big THANK YOU to Lisa and all of your helpers.

We are thrilled to announce that this camps special guest coach will be Manchester Thunders and England Rose Laura Malcom. This will be an amazing opportunity to train with one of England best athletes. Laura has become a decorated player in the VNSL having won three titles with Manchester Thunder. Laura Malcom was is named in the England Roses squad that for the 2022 January Quad Series.

 

The camps will take place at Barn Elms Sports Centre SW13 9WT. 

We will hosting those in

School years 3, 4 & 5 .9.30am-12.30pm

School years 6, 7, 8 & 9 1pm-4pm

SNTA Xmas social at Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink

Saturday 4th December

2..30-5.30pm

£12 per skater

Dress code- Sparkles and Xmas Jumpers

This includes 1 hour of skating, and 1.5 hour allocated for dining and socialiaing. Open to friends and family.

*children under 11 must be accomapained by a responsible adult 1:10. If your duaghter does not have a adult to accompany them we shall allocate them please highlight this on the form and we shall alloacte them to a coaches group.

 

DISNEY

We would like to invite all memebrs in years 8, 9 and 10 to represent SNTA in the International Junior Netball Festival at Disneyland Paris 5th-9th April 2022

The cost will be between £639 and £699. This includes 

  • Travel 
  • Accomadation 
  • Netball festival and training sessions
  • Coach hire 
  • Breakfasts
  • Award Ceremony

A £50 depsoit will be required Friday 19th November, 

We have lmited capacity on the coach for parents who wish to join, but htere is also a self drive option 

 

BUTLINS 

SNTA are invitings members in years 6, 7, and 8 to an exciting Netball Festival at Butlins Bognor Regis 20th-22nd May 2022. 

The cost will between £165-180 per person and families are welcome to join, 

Depsosit required Friday 19th November

We would like to congratulate the SNTA head coach Shan, in her appointment as London Pulse South West Hub head coach. Shanaide is delighted to be promoted to a head coach in the pathway after a very successful  last season as assistant coach.

Game Sense and what it means to SNTA

 

 

 

Proud to say that our head coach Shanaide attended and completed the England Netball Game Sense Workshop lead by England Netball legand Anita Navin. 

The workshop has eqiup our coaches with knowledge and understanding of Game Sense and its key principles.

COVID AWARENESS


As England Netball has announce that the Government has given the green light to accelerate the return of the sport through a modified version of the game. Shan Netball is qualified and ready for a safe return to our sessions.
